The 2016 Boston Harbor Educators conference was held on Saturday, October 1st. The theme this year was “CELEBRATING BOSTON HARBOR: Changing the Tide for 21st Century Learners.”
MME is pleased to once again be holding the annual High School Marine Science Symposium in 2017! There will be two events, one on Thursday, March 9 in Boston and one on Wednesday, March 15 in Salem. Registration will go live in January.
MME’s Annual Conference at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017. The theme of this year’s conference is “Revealing Our Ocean’s Secrets and Bringing them Into the Classroom”.
The annual Massachusetts Marine Educators Marine Art Contest, co-sponsored by the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, is open to all K–12 students. The 2017 theme is: “Exploring the Marine Biodiversity of Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary.” The deadline for this annual event is April 28, 2017.
